The Diversity Scan is a measure of the protective and risk factors that have been shown to influence women’s fit, functioning and growth in organisations.
It can also be adapted for use with other key organisational areas like safety. The factors and items used in the scale were identified through a meta-analysis of 107 studies (Resilience: Women’s Fit, Functioning and Growth at Work: Indicators and Predictors)
- to monitor the effectiveness of diversity policies and practice
- to identify areas for strategic focus of diversity or other key interventions such as Safety
- as a team diagnostic for motivating cultural change to support increased diversity and inclusion
