Navigating today’s complex world requires leaders to be able to manage uncertainty in an ever-changing commercial landscape – know-how for effective decision-making in a disruptive world.

ETHICAL LEADERSHIP BEYOND CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The Centre for Ethical Leadership understands the dynamic nature of leadership and the process of applying ethical reasoning to the challenges arising from social forces, personal crises, financial pressures, cultural change, and competition.

Today’s leaders face a world that is increasingly highly connected – where disruptive events from many different sources demand their attention and rapid response within complex performance frameworks.

The Centre for Ethical Leadership is dedicated to developing leaders. Leaders with the capacity to create expectations about ethical behaviour in their organisations that go beyond stated requirements in Codes of Ethics. The Centre seeks to challenge long-standing habits and deeply held assumptions to enable decision-making that reflects moral behaviour in leaders.

Our programs offer organisations and their leaders frameworks and tools for thinking through ethical issues and identifying actions that are both effective and values based. Leaders develop capabilities and narratives that enable breakthrough ways of reasoning through major organisational challenges and issues.

ARE YOU A LEADER FOR TOMORROW?

The Ethical Leadership Program is designed to prepare leaders for rapid reinvention. It inspires action through research centric thought leadership and undeniable truths.

The program provides a framework and tools to develop practical ethical reasoning skills. Program educators provide coaching and mentoring throughout the course, and opportunities to practice and explore challenging current case studies through role-play.

The diversity and seniority of the cohort contributes to the lively discussions of the ethical issues that confront leaders. The discussions with peers, time for reflection and guidance on the application of ethical framing and the minimisation of bias and blind spots all contribute to produce exceptional outcomes for participants.

With business leaders today operating in an environment of unprecedented change, the program supports organisations seeking to develop and retain high-potential candidates for leadership roles and is aimed at:

  • Senior Managers
  • Directors
  • Project Managers
  • Heads of Operating Units
