Mark has nearly 40 years of global experience in the people management business – 14 of these at CEO/MD level in the management consulting industry (Hay Group, Korn Ferry), the balance with large multi-national corporations (ICI, Exxon Chemical, ACI International, ANZ) in a variety of senior human resources roles.

Mark has served as an advisor to Boards and Chief Executives on the entire range of organisation and people-related issues. He has a reputation as an innovative thinker and a trusted advisor. He is also known for his values-led leadership and for having the courage to challenge the status quo.

Currently he is engaged in a portfolio of activities including: running Boonderoo Company, a commercial walnut business with orchards in Central Victoria and Southern NSW with his wife, Hilary; as Partner with The KBA Consulting Group, a value-based strategy and organisational development consultancy and as a Board Director and Partner investor in Social Venture Partners Melbourne.

Mark has a special interest in mentoring and coaching leaders, advising organisations on ethical leadership issues and helping organisations transform their cultures.

Mark has a B.Com (Accounting and Economics) from Rhodes University and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand Business School.
